Dashwood, Zurich, Hensall and Seaforth Meter Exchange

We’re upgrading to a new metering system as part of our commitment to investing in modern technology and providing reliable, efficient service to our customers in Dashwood, Zurich, Hensall and Seaforth.

What to Expect:

Dashwood, Zurich, and Hensall Customers: Between June 8-19, your current electricity smart meter will be replaced with a new smart meter. To complete the work safely, there will be a brief power interruption - expected to last no more than 5 minutes.

• The work will be completed by Festival Hydro crews or an approved contractor working on our behalf. You may see personnel in your area during this time.

Seaforth Customers: Between July 6-17, your current electricity smart meter will be replaced with a new smart meter. To complete the work safely, there will be a brief power interruption - expected to last no more than 5 minutes.

• The work will be completed by Festival Hydro crews or an approved contractor working on our behalf. You may see personnel in your area during this time.

Need to be home during the work?

In most cases, no one needs to be home. However, if you require someone to be on-site or have accessibility concerns, please contact us at metering@festivalhydro.com.

• Some meters may be replaced later this year outside of these dated periods, these customers will be contacted directly in the future for these meter changes.
