Summer Savings ProgramThe Summer Savings program ended August 31, 2007. Thank you Festival Hydro customers for doing your part to reduce your electricity use this summer. By using less electricity, you’ve already saved on your electricity costs, while helping to reduce the strain on the electricity system during the high-demand summer months. And you’ve also done something good for the environment. The Summer Savings program ran from July 1, 2007 until August 31, 2007. There was no need to enroll – eligible Festival Hydro customers were automatically part of the program. If you reduced your electricity use by 10% between July 1 and August 31, as compared to the same period last summer*, you will receive an additional 10% credit on your upcoming electricity bill. This is on top of what you already saved by using less electricity! If you had eligible energy savings, your credit will appear on your October electricity bill. * For the purposes of comparison, Festival Hydro will make adjustments to your electricity use data to take into account any weather differences between 2006 and 2007.
