Are You Planning to Dig? Are you putting in fence posts, planting a tree, excavating for a pool, deck or a new addition? Before you dig, it is important to locate utility lines. It is your responsibility to secure underground locates.

FESTIVAL HYDRO IS NOW A MEMBER OF ONTARIO ONE CALL. Previously, requests for electric locates were made directly to Festival Hydro, separate from other requests for water and sewer locates, gas pipeline locates, and telephone line locates who are already part of Ontario One Call. Now as of Jan. 3, 2012, you must call Ontario One Call, who will forward your request to Festival Hydro, as well as to its other member utilities.

When to call? Call the Ontario One Call Utility notification service at least one week before you dig toll-free at 1-800-400-2255 or by fax at 1-800-400-8876 (THIS SERVICE IS AVAILALBE 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK).
